Reverse billing (also known as "premium rate SMS") is a function of your SMS service provider. Yes, you can do it, but you need an account with an SMS service provider which provides this support. |

I can't recommend any (at least I try to avoid doing so) ... but basically you'll find that it depends on which countries you are targeting with your efforts. There tend to be a lot of peculiarities to how things are handled for different countries and different operators, so if you're focused on a particular one or two countries, you might find be better off with a provider that specialises in those countries, as opposed to one of the providers with more global reach. We've been seeing a lot of activity with customers using mBlox for premium rate SMS lately, but I think that is primarily because of the fact that we have added some support for special parameters required by that service. Do a Google search on premium rate SMS, and that's probably the best keyword for finding a selection of providers to investigate. -bn |
