i transfered all my SMS from my multimedia card to my pc..and after that i tried to read them but i couldn't because they appear as SMIL files and when i choose open with "note pad" or "mic. WORD" it opens with unreadable characters! what can i do? plz |

Well u can view all the SMIL files in a RealPlayer.which i ve tried and seen. So i hope you can try it and hope you get the result. Biranchi |

i tried but it didn't work...they are sms not mms...just text msgs..how can i read them? |

The file format is most likely specific to your mobile phone. So you should refer to documentation for your mobile phone (and/or the manufacturer's web site) for potential clues. If your mobile phone manufacturer has any companion PC software for your phone, that software might have an option to export the text messages to a readable text file. Basically once the message has been received, how the phone wants to store it is completely up to the phone's software. -bn |
