hi, how can i use my nokia phone 6100 as GSM modem what is all setting in my mobile and nowsms i have to do? there is any software i have to install at my mobile?? please help me thanks a lot |

I would start by attaching your nokia device to your pc. I find that using a serial cable is best (only used sony ericsson though so not sure if nokia devices support this) Next add the phone as a modem using the control panel. Install NowSMS and add your modem. This should be enough. |

Based upon the information that I have, the Nokia 6100 can be used as a GSM modem either with a USB cable (DKU-5), or via infrared. If you're using the USB cable, you can download the DKU-5 driver from the Nokia web site. http://www.nokia.com/nokia/0%2C5184%2C5447%2C00.html Once the modem driver is installed, add the modem to the "SMSC" list in NowSMS. -bn |
