I got a wavecom 1206b. After connecting serial port, antenna and power supply, I watched for the led to start flashing slowly (indicating network connection). Then I started kermit and entered the "set line /dev/ttys0" command. Kermit prompted me to enter the "set carrier-watch off" command which I did. After connecting with the "c" command, I typed "AT", but there's no response. Even the letters "AT" don't appear on the terminal. Any suggestions? Thanks, RN |
