I need some help here. When I send a large number of messages (about hundreds), sometimes when a message is delivered to the recipient, the .REQ file in the Q folder for that message does not disappear automatically. This leads to the gateway automatically resending the messages on its own. The first time this happened I was sending to 700 people and some customers complained that they received the same message about 10 times or so. I am using the Itegno 3000 Modem. Does the problem lie in the modem, or the gateway settings? There's nothing uncommon in the SMSGW.ini and SMSDEBUG.log files, and in the SMSOUT- files, the messages have been shown as "OK" (means delivered), but later the same messages for the same phone number will reappear again. Let's say there's a line that says ... +628165447071 OK ... and later there will be the same line (only differs in the time) below that line somewhere. How exactly does the Q folder work? Why sometimes it fails to delete the .REG files automatically? Occasionally, some .ERR files will also appear. Regards, Sieghart BC Information Systems |
