Hi Brandon,
1. SMSC is the server in where all your SMS services will be done. so you have to read little and understand more. but when you install the NowSms gateway software, you will find a full help documentation in the NowSms. to find the two full help files, go in start==>programs==>NowSms and then you will choose one of the both files.
2. the modem pin is your pin code you get from your mobile operator when you suscribe and get your SIM card. it mean that if you want to able to send SMS, you have to connect your NowSms to a SMSC provider for the mobile operator. some time there are no need to set up the pin code if you use the default one given from your mobile operator. anotherway fill it before testing the connection of the modem.
3. to solve this problem i have to know which mobile you use to make the modem connection. Is your GSM modem really well installed in your PC, if not NowSms will not detect it and then will generate an error when you want to make a test.
