How can I set this:

Bind with TON =0 and NPI=0

Send Numeric sender with TON=1 and NPI=1

Send Alphanumeric sender with TON=5 and NPI=0

Rocky,

This will all happen automatically ...

If you set the sender address to a number that starts with "+", then that tells us that the sender address is in international format (TON=1).

If you set the sender address such that it includes alpha characters, then this tells us that it is an alphanumeric sender (TON=5).

Dear Bryce, the system does not accept the + sign, I must push the sender number only numeric (i.e 44xxxxx), but if I do this nowsms recognize this string how alpha characters and sms do not arrive.

How can I resolve this problem?

Can Nowsms recognize numeric address also if don't strat with "+", but only with numeric string?

Rocky,

If you enter "+" in the sender field, NowSMS does not actually send the "+" character to the SMSC.

Instead, it uses that information to determine how to format the addresss for the SMSC.

For example, with an SMPP-based SMSC, the "+" sign tells NowSMS to submit the number with TON=1 and the number is submitted without the "+".

TON is an SMPP specific consideration, but there are similar settings for other types of SMSC connections, so again, the "+" is how you tell NowSMS that the number is in international format, and when the "+" is present for NowSMS, it knows to use the appropriate encoding for international number format with the SMSC.
