Here is the binding login details from my network for test, all i want is the mirrior image of nowsms format or info equivalent to the login as would be in the smsc window and its advance window for SMPP connection over TCP/IP. | ||||

I've moved this discussion to a new thread as it has nothing to do with either NowSMS Lite or the SMPP server component of NowSMS that was being discussed in the other thread. Here is how the SMPP connection you describe would be configured in NowSMS. (Note that I am not sure what "OIS Version" refers to as that is not an SMPP parameter.) DES, a million times for your prompt response. I will configure Nowsms as advised and will revert back soonest. I may add, that i have also tried a GSM modem configuration with an 'ERROR: Web port already in use' yet the connection is displayed as ok. This error is present even with the modem disconnected from the computer. The modem test was successful. Not a single report is active and no out or inbound sms's are accepted. | ||||

This error means that NowSMS cannot accept HTTP/web connections because another application is already using the "Port number for web interface" on the "Web" page of the NowSMS configuration. In other words, you can't connect to NowSMS with http://127.0.0.1:8800 because another application is already using that port number. Change the port number that NowSMS is configured to use, or stop running the other application. It is also possible that you have configured this port number for multiple server options in NowSMS, which would also be a problem. Whatever port number is configured for "Port number for web interface" should not be used anywhere else (not for SMPP, not for the MMSC, etc.). -- Des NowSMS Support | ||||
